THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

Yes, these are the fishnet stockings. Sexy or vulgar? Poetic or shabby? Expensive or cheap? It’s all down to the woman’s silhouette they put their trust in. When does the bell toll on this sophisticated and passionate game of threads? The Victorian Era casts a look of disdain upon them, raises its thick eyebrows, or perhaps even plays the role of false innocence?

Not a party for the shy

Towards its end, it “allows” them to slightly pop out from under the long dresses. And so, the skin on the legs shines out for the first time through the delicate holes of passion. The peak of the fishnet fetish comes in the controversial and extreme-packed 20th century – both sweet and bitter, tempting and confused.

And without a drop of shame, the “erotic net” jumps into the women’s wardrobes. But this is not a party for the shy.

Right at home

The “new” Amazons have a cigarillo, a short bob haircut and were born to live in the rhythm of ragtime and swing. The fishnet stockings feel right at home among the dancers at the Moulin Rouge. They are somehow neither dressed nor naked.

Thus, one of the new erotic formulas of the 20th century was born. And the pin-up embraced it. We see it in the “queens” in this genre – Jane Mansfield and Betty Page. And let’s not forget Liz Taylor.

Jump into the net

The spirit of the 20th century stops in front of the photo of itself, where it is wearing high waisted shorts, a black polo neck and legs stretched out in fishnet stockings. We gently recoil from this erotic whip to meet face to face with punk and the “gentle” net.

The world is becoming torn and exposed, adding another hole in history. Nancy from the Sex Pistols unlocks her soul, but also her feet with her ripped socks.

The world is no longer the same and it beats in the wild rhythm of time. The wild beckons designers such as Vivian Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier as well. And their hearts “jump into the net” and this is evident in their collections.

It’s impossible not to mention Cher and Madonna – they give the color to this erotic accessory that flows with all the colors of the rainbow.

And Tom Ford does not remain indifferent and stretches them to the ankles and “drops” in a few sequins for taste. And some prefer them in white, like Sarah Jessica Parker.
